Physics is in trouble!To start with we do not know what is the Universe; physics is there to tell us what is the Universe.Then I ask the simple question: how physicists (not knowing what the Universe is made of) have zeroed-in on the fundamental quantities of the Universe that will allow them to describe the Universe? Could it be that physicists are using traditional entities adopted millenniums ago and never questioned? Obviously space and time have been neither verified experimentally nor tested before usage! Now if space and time are arbitrary, their usage in the description of the Universe can only lead to a disaster, or at best to a dead end! Sadly enough according to Lee Smolin’s book: "The Trouble with Physics. The Rise of String Theory, the Fall of a Science, and what comes next" that happened! As of today Physics is trapped in a dead end! This writer thinks that physicists are using the wrong ingredients to describe Nature! This writer provides an elegant solution in the book |
