Physics is in trouble!To start with, physicist or not, we knew nothing about the Universe.Then I ask the simple question: How physicists in the past, who to start with knew nothing about the universe, have zeroed-in on the fundamental entities that make the Universe? I am specifically thinking about the fundamental concepts (in physics) of time, space and mass. Are contemporary physicists using traditional entities adopted millenniums ago, which have never been questioned? Obviously space and time have been neither verified experimentally nor tested before usage! And the concept of mass is seriously in question nowadays. As a matter of fact a huge investment at CERN is underway just to verify that that mental concept of ours has a physical colateral in reality! Now if these concepts of space, time and mass turn out to be unfounded, their usage in the description of the Universe can only lead to a disaster, or at best to a dead end! Sadly enough according to Lee Smolin’s book: "The Trouble with Physics. The Rise of String Theory, the Fall of a Science, and what comes next" that already happened! As of today Physics is trapped in a dead end! This writer thinks that physicists are using the wrong ingredients to describe Nature!
